On the occasion of the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Pankaj Kumar Sharma—Convener of the Mahatma Gandhi Jeevan Darshan Samiti and General Secretary and Spokesperson of the Pradesh Congress—paid homage at the statue site of Mahatma Gandhi located at Gulab Bagh. He began the program by lighting a lamp, offering a cotton garland to Mahatma Gandhi, and paying floral tributes with reverence after observing a two-minute silence.

During the ceremony, the rendition of Mahatma Gandhi’s favorite bhajans, including *“Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye Je Peed Parayi Jaane Re”* and *“Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram,”* along with other devotional songs, filled the atmosphere with a spirit of Gandhian values.
