District Collector Reviews Gram Utthan Camps via Video Conference

Udaipur: District Collector Namit Mehta conducted a detailed review of the Gram Utthan Abhiyan – 2026 camps on Monday through video conferencing. The review focused on the progress of the camps held at the Girdawar Circle level between 23 January and 1 February, evaluating departmental services tehsil-wise and department-wise, and providing clear instructions to officials.
The Collector emphasized that the camps reflect the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, and the government is committed to ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of various schemes promptly. He instructed all officers to work with seriousness and sensitivity and directed that all information related to the camps be uploaded accurately and updated on the portal. Areas showing unsatisfactory progress were identified, and concerned officers were asked to provide explanations and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Collector Mehta instructed all sub-divisional and departmental officers to coordinate efforts to maximize public participation and ensure that the camps provide lasting solutions to citizens’ problems, rather than functioning as mere formalities. He also gave directives for the upcoming camps scheduled from 5 to 9 February, including pre-camp activities, identifying beneficiaries, proper organization of the camps, and preparation of success stories with photos and videos to be shared.
The meeting also reviewed the settlement of claims and objections in SIR and the progress of pending revenue cases on the Sampark Portal, with instructions for their prompt resolution. Additionally, the progress of landless PACS-LAMP proposals was assessed, and necessary guidelines were provided.
Officials present at the meeting included ADM Administration Deependra Singh Rathore, ADM City Jitendra Ojha, CEO Ria Dabi, ACEO Veermaram, Joint Director Agriculture Extension Sudhir Kumar Verma, Superintending Engineer Water Resources Manoj Jain, along with various departmental officers. All sub-divisional officers, tehsildars, development officers, and block-level officers joined the meeting via video conferencing.
