Udaipur: A group of 100 farmers was flagged off for an inter-district, state-level exposure visit aimed at enhancing their skills and knowledge of modern agricultural practices. The initiative was organized under the Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Department, Panchayat Samiti Rishabhdev (PMKSY WDC Project 07) and Nayagaon (PMKSY WDC Project 06).
The delegation departed on Monday, March 23, 2026, in two buses. The flag-off ceremony was led by Additional Chief Engineer Atul Jain and Superintending Engineer Anil Sanadhya.
Officials present on the occasion included Executive Engineer Pradeep Somani from Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Division, Kherwara; Assistant Engineer Suresh Parmar from Rishabhdev; and Assistant Engineer Dev Kumar Solanki from Nayagaon.
During the tour, the farmers will visit Krishi Vigyan Kendras and other important locations in Jodhpur, Nagaur, Sirohi, Jalore, and Piplantri to gain practical exposure to advanced farming techniques. The delegation is scheduled to return on March 27, 2026.
