Udaipur: Under the auspices of the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Statue Development Committee, a heartfelt floral tribute ceremony was held at the Bhagat Singh Statue site in Sevashram on the occasion of the 95th Sacrifice Day of martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. Brave sons of the nation who laid down their lives for India’s freedom were remembered with deep reverence and respect.
Coordinator Ram Ji Varshney shared that the chief guest, Dr. B.R. Chaudhary, laid a floral garland at the martyr’s statue. Program Chairman Gajpal Singh Rathore gave an emotional account of the exemplary lives of the three freedom fighters. Committee President Pramod Samar highlighted how, at a young age, these heroes faced the gallows with courage and laughter, paving the way for India’s independence.
Adding a patriotic fervor to the program, Satendra Pal Singh Chavda performed stirring patriotic songs, filling the atmosphere with nationalism. The ceremony concluded with a collective rendition of the national song “Vande Mataram.”
Prominent citizens of the city, including Rajmal Chittoda, Sushil Ranka, Vikas Kothari, Sudhir Prajapat, Devendra Pal Singh Rozi, Tejendra Singh Robin, Shantilal Meghwal, Meenu Kaver Chauhan, Babita Bhardwaj, Rakesh Nandawat, Takhat Singh Shaktawat, Kanhaiya Vaishnav, Sudesh Saxena, Sushil Jangid, Pukhraj Rajpurohit, Kishan Singh Lodha, Sunil Jain, Dr. Vijay Viplavi, and others, paid their respects by offering floral tributes.
At the end of the event, special guest Dinesh Bhatt expressed gratitude to all attendees. The gathered community pledged to follow the path shown by the martyrs and contribute to nation-building. The program was conducted by Ram Ji Varshney, with Dr. Seema Champawat serving as the guest reception committee spokesperson.
