Kashmiri Youth Exchange Program: Third Day Filled with Historical and Educational Experiences

Udaipur: On the third day of the “Kashmiri Youth Exchange Program,” organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Ministry of Home Affairs, participants gained enriching experiences of Udaipur’s historical, educational, and cultural heritage.

The day began with a visit to Saheliyon Ki Bari, where participants explored its natural beauty and historical significance while learning about the rich heritage of Mewar. This was followed by a visit to Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT). At the university, Professor Vikramaditya Dave conducted an informative session highlighting the importance of agriculture, innovation, and modern technologies, encouraging youth to become self-reliant through education.

After lunch, the participants visited the City Palace Udaipur, where they learned about Mewar’s glorious history, royal architecture, and traditions. Later, they attended cultural performances at Lok Dharohar Udaipur. The vibrant display of Rajasthan’s folk culture, dance, and music captivated all participants.

District Youth Officer Shubham Purbia stated that such visits and educational activities play a vital role in connecting youth with the country’s diverse cultural heritage while strengthening mutual understanding, unity, and brotherhood.
