District Collector Unveils Panch Gaurav Calendar

Udaipur: A meeting of the District-Level Panch Gaurav Implementation Committee was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Committee Head and District Collector Gaurav Agrawal. During the meeting, the District Collector reviewed the progress made so far under the Panch Gaurav program and discussed the proposed action plan for the coming year, issuing necessary directions.

On this occasion, wall and table calendars related to the Panch Gaurav initiative, published by the Information and Public Relations Department, were also unveiled.

During the meeting, the District Collector discussed the preparation of the Panch Gaurav Action Plan for 2026–27, in accordance with the guidelines received from the Chief Secretary and the Director of the Economics and Statistics Department, Jaipur. He directed officials to prepare a coordinated, implementable, and result-oriented action plan aligned with the vision of Developed Rajasthan 2047, keeping in mind the district’s priorities.

He further instructed that the year 2024–25 be considered as the base year while setting targets—short-term goals for 2026–27, medium-term goals for 2029–30, and long-term goals for 2047. Clear and measurable indicators should also be defined accordingly.

Joint Director of Economics and Statistics Puneet Sharma presented the Panch Gaurav 2026–27 action plans received from various departments. After a department-wise discussion, the District Collector directed departments to submit their plans along with approved estimates from the working agencies. He also instructed the District Treasury Officer to form a Market Rate Finding Committee to verify the estimates before submission.

The meeting was attended by Municipal Commissioner Abhishek Khanna, UDA Secretary Hemendra Nagar, Deputy Conservator of Forests Mukesh Saini, Treasury Officer Parth Sharma, Deputy Director (Tourism) Shikha Saxena, Deputy Director (Information and Public Relations) Gaurikant Sharma, Deputy Director (Horticulture) Kailash Chandra Sharma, General Manager of District Industries and Commerce Centre Shailendra Sharma, District Sports Officer Dr. Mahesh Paliwal, and other officials.
