Students Learned Scientific Principles

Udaipur | In the four-day Summer Science Awareness Camp organized by the Science Committee Udaipur, students from classes 6 to 8 learned various scientific principles by conducting experiments themselves under the guidance of subject experts and explaining their observations.

Camp coordinator Dr. R. K. Garg said that the students studied the properties of acids and bases, observed celestial objects through a telescope, performed flower dissection, examined the brains of different organisms, and observed the structure and functions of plant stomata using a microscope. In addition, they carried out experiments related to the balance between human body temperature and atmospheric temperature.

During the closing ceremony of the camp, chief guest Dr. K. L. Kothari highlighted the important role of scientists in the progress of a developing country like India.

Media in-charge Professor Vimal Sharma informed that 25 students from various schools, including DPS, CPS, and RMV, participated in the camp. The students conducted different experiments under the guidance of Mrs. Renu Bhandari (Physics), Dr. K. P. Talesara (Physics), Mrs. Geeta Singh (Chemistry), and Prakash Tated (Biology), and received certificates for their participation.
