Udaipur: The seven-day free training and service camp jointly organized by Rotary Club Udaipur Ashoka, Being Manav, and Mewar Shakti Kalyan Trust, which commenced on June 1, will conclude today, June 7, at Madhushree Banquet Hall, Ashoka Palace. Throughout the week, participants received comprehensive training aimed at their physical, mental, and spiritual development through various activities focused on self-defense, health, yoga, meditation, and spirituality.
Founder of Rotary Club Ashoka, Mukesh Madhvani, informed that during the first three days of the camp, renowned trainer and wrestler Gopishankar Karosia conducted self-defense and sword-training sessions. Women and youth were taught practical self-defense techniques, methods to ensure personal safety during emergencies, and ways to build self-confidence.
On the fourth day, Dr. Jitendra Meghwal and his team organized an Ayurvedic health check-up camp, offering consultations, treatments, and health-related guidance. Participants were educated about Ayurvedic lifestyle practices, disease prevention, and the importance of natural healing methods.
Rotary Club Udaipur Ashoka President Rahul Makhija stated that a special yoga and fitness session was conducted on the fifth day at Nari Niketan. Dr. Meenakshi Paliwal and Dr. Kiran Paliwal guided participants through yoga postures, pranayama, physical exercises, and explained the benefits of regular yoga practice. They also encouraged participants to adopt a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Camp In-charge Rajshree Sisodia informed that a special meditation session was held on the sixth day under the guidance of Shakuntala Ji. Participants were trained in various meditation techniques aimed at achieving mental peace, stress management, positive thinking, and improved concentration. The session was highly appreciated for its practical and inspirational value.
Founder of Mewar Shakti Kalyan Trust, Basanti Vaishnav, stated that the seventh and final day will feature a closing ceremony along with spiritual and cultural programs. Renowned devotional singer Pandit Satyanarayan Chaubisa will present a musical bhajan performance. Trainers, doctors, organizers, and participants who contributed to the success of the camp will also be honored during the event.
She added that the primary objective of the week-long camp was to raise awareness about health, self-defense, yoga, meditation, and spirituality in society. The initiative received enthusiastic participation and support from the community. The camp played a significant role in empowering participants physically, fostering mental positivity, and enhancing spiritual awareness.
