Udaipur: T. Ravikant, Principal Secretary of the Mines and Petroleum Department and Officer on Special Duty for Udaipur district, stated that the State Government is committed to ensuring that citizens receive the benefits of government services and welfare schemes in a simple, accessible, and timely manner. He said that urban and rural service camps serve as an effective platform for achieving this objective by ensuring the prompt and transparent resolution of public grievances.
While inspecting the Urban Service Camp organized at the Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) premises on Saturday, Ravikant interacted with officials and staff members and issued necessary directions. He reviewed the stalls set up by various departments and gathered information about the services being provided. He also sought feedback on the disposal of revenue-related cases, lease (patta) applications, and other public grievances, while providing guidance to officials for their effective resolution.
During the inspection, Ravikant emphasized that every case should be handled with sensitivity and that citizens should not be required to make unnecessary visits to government offices. He stressed the importance of ensuring quality and timely disposal of applications received during the camps. Udaipur District Collector Gaurav Agrawal was also present on the occasion. Ravikant and the District Collector distributed lease certificates (pattas) to beneficiaries. UDA Secretary Hemendra Nagar briefed them on the services being provided at the camp. UDA Chief Engineer Sanjeev Sharma and officials and employees from various departments were also present.
The Officer on Special Duty also inspected the Urban Service Camp being conducted at the Municipal Corporation premises, reviewed the arrangements, and instructed officials to work effectively in the public interest.
Daughter’s Birth Celebrated at Madar Village
T. Ravikant also visited the Rural Service Camp organized at Madar Gram Panchayat in Badgaon Subdivision. He reviewed the services being provided to villagers and the activities being undertaken by various departments.
Under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign, the Women Empowerment Department organized a “Daughter’s Birth Celebration” program. Ravikant celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake and reaffirmed the commitment to ensuring education, dignity, and safety for girl children. Women Supervisor Kirti Jain and Radha Audichya, Manager of the Pannadhay Security and Honor Centre, among others, were present during the event.
Distribution of Mangala Livestock Insurance Policies
At the Rural Service Camp in Madar Gram Panchayat, Chief Minister’s Mangala Livestock Insurance Policies were distributed to livestock owners in the presence of T. Ravikant. Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Deependra Singh Rathore, Sub-Divisional Officer Mansukh Damor, Development Officer Shailendra Khinchi, Naib Tehsildar Ramesh Rajpurohit, Block Veterinary Officer Dr. Dattatraya Chaudhary, and other officials were present on the occasion.
