Guru Purnima Celebrated with New Education and Student Empowerment Initiatives

Udaipur: On the occasion of Guru Purnima, Rajasthan celebrated education, student empowerment and holistic development through state and district-level programmes. At the state-level event in Khedli Gurjar, Bharatpur, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma launched several key initiatives, inaugurated development projects and released Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) assistance for school uniforms to students of government schools across the state. He also launched the Padho Rajasthan Mission to promote reading habits and improve the quality of education, besides interacting virtually with students from different districts.

In Udaipur, a district-level programme was held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, where the state event was telecast live. Udaipur MLA Tarachand Jain reaffirmed the government's commitment to quality education and equal opportunities for every student. Education department officials, teachers, social worker Gajpal Singh Rathore, and a large number of students attended the programme.
