Tributes Pour in on the 37th Birth Anniversary of Martyr Lieutenant Abhinav Nagori

Udaipur: The 37th birth anniversary of Martyr Lieutenant Abhinav Nagori was observed with deep reverence and patriotic fervour on Thursday at the Government Senior Secondary School, Bhuvana, named in his honour. The programme paid tribute to the young officer’s courage, sacrifice, and dedicated service to the nation.

The event commenced at 8 a.m. with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and floral tributes in the presence of Veer Mata Sushila Nagori. Teachers, students, and prominent citizens remembered the martyr and pledged to uphold his ideals of patriotism, discipline, and selfless service. On behalf of the martyr’s family, Abhinav Practice Booklets were distributed to all students to encourage academic excellence and inspire a commitment to education.

Principal Manish Soni described Lieutenant Nagori as the pride of the institution, saying that his life and sacrifice continue to inspire generations of students to serve the nation with dedication. The martyr’s father, Dharmchand Nagori, former Deputy Director of Education, urged students to honour his son's legacy by pursuing excellence in education and contributing meaningfully to society and the country.

Speakers highlighted Lieutenant Nagori’s exceptional bravery and supreme sacrifice, encouraging students to draw inspiration from his life. The school campus echoed with patriotic slogans of “Jai Hind” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” creating a stirring atmosphere of national pride. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by lecturer Rakesh Ameta, followed by a collective tribute to the martyr.
