Sai Tirupati University Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Patriotic Zeal

Udaipur: Sai Tirupati University, Umarda, celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme began with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Kumar Parik, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag. The Tricolour was saluted with the National Anthem, and a grand march-past was presented by NSS volunteer students.

On the occasion, Chairperson Mr. Ashish Agrawal, CEO Mrs. Sheetal Agrawal, Managing Director Mr. Naman Agrawal, and Mr. Pratik Agrawal extended their greetings and best wishes to all.

Presiding over the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prashant Nahar shared his views on the importance of Republic Day and the Constitution. He highlighted the relevance of the national song “Vande Mataram” in building a developed and self-reliant India and motivated students to contribute to nation-building through patriotism. He also appreciated the achievements of Sai Tirupati University and conveyed his congratulations to the management, faculty, staff, and students. Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain blessed the honoured students and wished them a bright future.

The event was attended by Dr. Suresh Goyal, Principal of Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences; Dr. Sarita Kant, Medical Superintendent; former Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chandra Mathur; Dean (Research) Dr. Bharat Parashar; Senior Advisor Mr. A. L. Sehlot; along with principals of all constituent colleges, faculty members, staff, and students. During the programme, Dr. Narendra Goyal shared details of a special agreement aimed at promoting medical tourism at the newly constructed multi-specialty PIMS City Hospital.

As per the directives of the Higher Education Department, Government of Rajasthan, a collective rendition of “Vande Mataram” was performed to mark the 150th anniversary of the national song. The highlight of the celebration was a series of colourful and patriotic cultural performances presented by students of the constituent colleges.

During the ceremony, NSS volunteers, sports staff, academically outstanding students, and cultural performers were honoured with certificates of appreciation. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Srinidhi, while the programme was compered by Mrs. Tasneem Haider. Members of the Cultural Committee—Dr. Ajay Chaudhary, Dr. Vaibhav Chittora, Mrs. Maheshwari Patel, and Mr. Mohammad Yasir Khan—also contributed to the successful organisation of the event.
