Two-Day National Workshop on Dermatosurgery and Dermatopathology Concludes Successfully at PMCH

Udaipur: A two-day National Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme and workshop on “Dermatosurgery and Dermatopathology: Basic to Advanced” concluded successfully at Pacific Medical College & Hospital (PMCH). The event was jointly organized by the Departments of Dermatology and Pathology.

The primary objective of the workshop was to familiarize dermatologists, postgraduate (PG) students, and healthcare professionals with the latest techniques in skin surgery and dermatopathology through academic discussions and hands-on training sessions.

Workshop Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Vaishampayan informed that renowned experts from some of the country's leading medical institutions participated in the programme. The keynote speakers included Dr. Yogesh Bhingradiya from Gandhinagar, Dr. Sushil Pandey from Nagpur, and Dr. Anuradha Priyadarshini from Chennai. The experts delivered detailed lectures and practical demonstrations on various aspects of dermatosurgery, skin biopsies, histopathological diagnosis, and modern dermatological treatment techniques.

The first day of the workshop focused on academic sessions and theoretical learning, while the second day featured hands-on training, allowing participants to gain practical experience in advanced dermatological procedures and diagnostic techniques.

Congratulating the organizing team on the successful conduct of the event, PMCH Chairman Rahul Agrawal stated that the workshop served as an excellent platform for knowledge enhancement and skill development in the medical field. He added that such initiatives would enable doctors to provide more advanced and effective healthcare services to patients.

Workshop Secretary Dr. M.S. Devda highlighted that the experts emphasized the importance of strong clinical and pathological correlation for the timely and accurate diagnosis of complex skin disorders, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes and treatment success.

During the valedictory session, Dr. Sanjeev Vaishampayan and Dr. M.S. Devda expressed their gratitude to PMCH Director Preeti Agrawal, Executive Director Aman Agrawal, Principal Dr. U.S. Parihar, and Dr. M.M. Mangal of PMU for their constant support. They noted that the visionary leadership and encouragement provided by the institution’s management made it possible to organize a high-quality academic event promoting medical education and research.

The organizers also acknowledged the significant contributions of Organizing Secretary Dr. Shivani Bhardwaj and Scientific Chairperson Dr. D.M. Thapa, whose efforts played a key role in the successful execution of the workshop.
