Devotion to Lord Shiva to Flow in Bhuvana on First Monday of Shravan Month

Udaipur: The holy month of Shravan, dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva, brings immense devotion and enthusiasm among devotees. To mark this sacred occasion, Ratnagiri Vikas Samiti and the residents of Bhuvana will organise the Fourth Grand Kanwar Yatra on the first Monday of Shravan, August 3.

The yatra will begin at 8:15 a.m. from Bawdi Wale Hanuman Temple, Bhuvana, and proceed to Shri Amarkh Mahadev Temple, Amberi, where devotees will perform the holy water offering to Lord Shiva. Around 1,100 Kanwariyas are expected to participate, carrying holy water for the abhishek of Lord Mahadev.

The poster of the Kanwar Yatra was unveiled in the presence of Aman Agrawal, Executive Director of Pacific Medical College and Hospital, along with community representatives and office-bearers of Ratnagiri Vikas Samiti.

Speaking on the occasion, PMCH Chairman Rahul Agrawal said that the tradition of Kanwar Yatra has deep spiritual significance and that devotees believe offering holy water to Lord Shiva during Shravan brings divine blessings and fulfilment of wishes. Members of Ratnagiri Vikas Samiti and local residents were present during the poster launch.
