NCC CATC–VI / Group TSC Selection Camp Concludes at SPSU Udaipur

Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), Udaipur, in association with 10 Raj Battalion NCC, Udaipur, organised a ten-day CATC–VI / Group TSC Selection Camp from 15 to 24 June 2026. SPSU President Dr. Sanjay Sinha stated that such training camps play an important role in promoting discipline, leadership and personality development among students.

The camp aimed to provide comprehensive training and prepare cadets for future NCC activities and competitions. More than 530 cadets from over 20 schools and colleges across Rajasthan participated, creating a dynamic platform for learning, teamwork and skill enhancement.

Prof. (Lt.) (Dr.) D. S. Chouhan, Deputy Dean Student Welfare and Associate NCC Officer, said the camp reflected the university’s commitment to youth development and excellence in training.

Cadets received training in firing, map reading, field craft, battle drills, tent pitching, obstacle training, disaster management and environmental awareness. Various sports competitions were also organised to encourage teamwork and sportsmanship. Outstanding performers were recognised and awarded at the conclusion of the camp.
