SU Hackathon 2026 Concludes Successfully at Sangam University; Teams from Across India Showcase Innovation

Bhilwara: The two-day SU Hackathon 2026 organized at Sangam University concluded successfully, with students from various states presenting innovative technology-based solutions and demonstrating their talent. Out of more than 45 registrations, 23 teams from six states were selected for the final round of the competition.

After evaluation, the first position was secured by the team from Swaminarayan University, Gujarat, which received a cash prize of ₹51,000. The second position was achieved by the team from MLV Textile and Engineering College, Bhilwara, which was awarded ₹21,000.

In addition, winners in the Domain Excellence categories were awarded ₹11,000 each. The Startup Idea category was won by the team from Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur. The Textile category was won by the team from MLV Textile and Engineering College, Bhilwara. In Agriculture and Skill Development, the winning team was from Swaminarayan University, Gujarat, while the Engineering and Manufacturing category was won by a team from Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur.

During the closing ceremony, Dr. S. N. Modani from the Sangam Group honored the winning teams and encouraged students to pursue innovation and technological research. The Chief Guest for the event was scientist Gaurav Bafna from Space Applications Centre, Ahmedabad, while Shyam Sundar Verma from Ready Bites, Bhilwara attended as the Guest of Honor and shared their views on innovation in the modern era.

On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Karunesh Saxena, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Manas Ranjan Panigrahi, Registrar Dr. Alok Kumar, and Co-Coordinator from Sangam ITBI Rajav Kaushik, along with other university officials, were present.

The event coordinators Prof. Vikas Somani and Dr. Manoj Kumawat expressed gratitude to everyone involved for making the event successful. The closing ceremony concluded with the felicitation of the winning teams and the panel of judges.

The hackathon proved to be an important platform for students to promote innovation, technological collaboration, and startup-oriented thinking.
