Bhilwara: In an exciting final of the Sangam Premier League (SPL) Season 6, Sangam Kings delivered an outstanding performance to defeat Sangam Phantom by 56 runs and lift the title.
Batting first, Sangam Kings posted a strong total of 157 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Sohil Nahar played a शानदार innings of 47 runs, while captain Babu made a valuable contribution of 36 runs.
Chasing a target of 158 runs, Sangam Phantom appeared under pressure and were bowled out for 101 runs. From the Kings’ side, Chetan Chauhan impressed with the ball, taking 4 wickets and earning the ‘Player of the Match’ award.
For his exceptional performance throughout the tournament, Sushil Sen of Sangam Royals was honored with the ‘Orange Cap’ (highest run-scorer), ‘Most Sixes’, and ‘Player of the Series’. Meanwhile, Shubham Sharma received the ‘Purple Cap’ (highest wicket-taker).
PRO Rajkumar Jain stated that SPL Season 6 began on March 25, with a total of six teams from the Sangam Group participating. The main objective of the tournament was to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and coordination among employees and participants.
The closing ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests, including Sangam Group Vice Chairman Dr. S.N. Modani, Managing Director Anurag Soni, CEO Pranal Modani, Kripi Soni, Archana Sodani, Palak Modani, and Madhu Nagpal.
