Sri Ganganagar: Under the guidance of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority and the District Legal Services Authority, a **cybercrime awareness camp** was organized at the Government Nursing College, Sri Ganganagar on Friday. The camp was conducted by **Mr. Ravi Prakash Suthar**, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (Additional District & Sessions Judge), following instructions from Chairman Mr. Ravindra Kumar (District & Sessions Judge).
Addressing the nursing students, Mr. Suthar highlighted the rising incidence of cybercrime due to increasing internet use. He advised students to use **strong passwords**, **never share OTPs**, and **avoid clicking on unknown links** on social media or other online platforms.
He also explained the **PCPNDT (Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques) Act**, aimed at preventing prenatal gender determination and female foeticide. Violation of this law is a **cognizable, non-bailable, and non-compoundable offense**. Penalties include seizure of ultrasound machines, cancellation of the doctor’s registration, imprisonment up to **five years**, and fines.
During the camp, nursing staff were urged to **adhere strictly to the PCPNDT Act** and maintain ethical conduct in all professional work. Students were also educated about **staying away from drugs**, the **Victim Compensation Scheme**, and the **Palna Griha system**.
Later, **Chief Advocate Mr. Rohtash Yadav** of the District Legal Services Authority explained **free legal aid services** and the working of the Legal Aid Defense Council (LADC). Emphasis was also placed on the **physical and mental well-being of female students**. The session was conducted by **Amandeep Chalana**, who provided detailed insights into the functioning of Lok Adalats.

### National Food Security Scheme Portal Reopened
**Sri Ganganagar, 13 February:** The online portal for the **National Food Security Scheme** has been reopened to allow addition of remaining family members to ration cards of selected families.
District Supply Officer **Mrs. Kavita** stated that any family member can apply online through the portal [https://rrcc.rajasthan.gov.in/](https://rrcc.rajasthan.gov.in/). Names of remaining members will be added via **Jan Aadhaar API**, meaning the member must be listed on the **Jan Aadhaar card**. If a member has an LPG connection, their **LPG ID** must also be registered.
Following approval from the **District Supply Officer, Development Officer, and Executive Officer**, the added members must complete **e-KYC within 90 days**. The process is **fully online**, and beneficiaries can apply directly via mobile without needing to visit e-Mitra centers.
