District Collector Conducts Surprise Inspection of Rawla, Ghadsana, and Anupgarh Areas

Sri Ganganagar: District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of the Rawla, Ghadsana, and Anupgarh areas on Thursday. During the visit, he inspected the Tehsil office, CHC, government hospitals, police stations, and other key facilities, providing necessary instructions to officials. He also held a public hearing in Ghadsana to listen to citizens’ grievances and discussed wheat procurement with traders and officials.

Inspection of Rawla Facilities
Upon arriving in Rawla, the Collector inspected record maintenance and ongoing work at the Tehsil office. After consulting with the Tehsildar, he instructed that pending cases be resolved promptly. He then visited the hospital and reviewed the construction of the CHC building, emphasizing that all work must meet government quality standards and that negligence will not be tolerated. Dr. Yadav also inspected hospital cleanliness, availability of medicines, diagnostic services, and interacted with admitted patients, directing medical officers to ensure proper health services.

At the Rawla police station, he instructed immediate repairs to the dilapidated building and emphasized increasing patrolling while resolving pending cases efficiently.

Wheat Procurement Preparations in Ghadsana
The Collector then visited the Ghadsana Trade Board to discuss wheat procurement with traders and officials. Traders requested adequate jute sacks and assured support for procurement this year, similar to the previous year. Dr. Yadav confirmed that all preparations for smooth wheat purchase at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) are complete, and sufficient jute sacks are available. The central government has fixed the MSP at ₹2,585 per quintal, with the state government providing an additional ₹150 bonus. He also mentioned that a request had been sent to FCI to relax certain procurement rules for farmers and traders.

Public Grievances and Administrative Oversight
During the inspection of the SDM office, Tehsil, and CHC in Ghadsana, the Collector also reviewed wheat procurement arrangements at the Agricultural Produce Market. At the Panchayat Samiti, he conducted a public hearing, listened to citizens’ complaints, and instructed all officers to ensure timely resolution in accordance with government directives. He emphasized that grievances must be addressed seriously to provide effective relief to the public.

Inspection of Anupgarh Hospital
In Anupgarh, Dr. Yadav inspected the government hospital and its under-construction building. He reviewed OPD, OT, dialysis room, laboratory, and various wards, speaking with admitted patients to assess healthcare services. He instructed officials to ensure high-quality treatment in line with government objectives and also issued directions for improving dialysis machine facilities.

Citizen Requests Submitted
During the visit, villagers submitted memorandums requesting completion of pending Jal Jeevan Mission works, construction of a dilapidated 11-KPD culvert, initiation of Roadways bus service, allocation of land for waste collection, and other local needs. The Collector assured prompt action, emphasizing that providing better facilities for citizens is a government priority.
