VMOU has implemented the semester system under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, with first-semester examinations scheduled for December 2026. The university operates 18 study centres across the region to facilitate practical sessions, examinations, and assignment submissions. Students can complete the entire admission process online through e-Mitra centres or net banking, without submitting hard copies of application forms.
