Sri Ganganagar: On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the Devasthan Department organized 'Guru Vandan' programmes across Sri Ganganagar district to honour saints and celebrate India's revered Guru-Shishya tradition. During the events, saints and spiritual leaders at temples, ashrams and religious institutions were felicitated with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma's Guru Vandan message, Guru Dakshina and traditional mementos.
The main function was held at Shri Dharma Sangh Sanskrit College Trust, where Ganganagar MLA Jaideep Bihani, Additional District Collector Subhash Kumar, and Devasthan Department officials honoured Brahmachari Shri Kalyan Swaroop Ji. Similar ceremonies were organized at religious institutions across Vijaynagar, Raisinghnagar, Gharsana, Anupgarh, Sadulshahar, Srikaranpur and Suratgarh.
Several saints were felicitated in the presence of public representatives, government officials, Devasthan Department personnel and devotees, reinforcing the importance of preserving India's spiritual heritage and expressing gratitude towards revered gurus.
