Think Big, Keep Learning, Stay Future-Ready: Rampal Soni Inspires Freshers at Sangam University

Bhilwara | Sangam University marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for its newly admitted students with the grand inauguration of 'Deeksharambh–2026', a three-day Freshers' Orientation Programme, held at the Town Hall, Bhilwara.

The ceremony commenced with the University Anthem and a warm welcome for the freshers in the presence of Sangam Group Chairman Shri Rampal Soni, Vice Chairman Dr. S.N. Modani, Managing Director Shri Anurag Soni, Board Member Palak Modani, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Karunesh Saxena, Registrar Dr. Alok Kumar, distinguished alumnus Rohit Sharma, and senior university officials.

Welcoming the new batch, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Karunesh Saxena highlighted the university's academic excellence, modern infrastructure, strong placement record, and student-centric ecosystem. He inspired students with the message, "Your earning is directly linked to your learning," encouraging them to embrace continuous learning, make the best use of university resources, and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

Addressing the gathering, Vice Chairman Dr. S.N. Modani shared valuable life lessons drawn from the Bhagavad Gita, emphasizing that values, ethics, and positive actions are the true foundations of lasting success.

Delivering the keynote address, Chairman Shri Rampal Soni urged students to remain future-ready by continuously upgrading themselves with changing times. He encouraged them to adopt emerging technologies, step beyond their comfort zones, develop mental fitness, and nurture a positive mindset.

"Every morning brings a new opportunity. Dream big, believe in yourself, and never stop learning," he said.

A special highlight of the event was the presentation of the Corporate Icon for Youth Award to distinguished alumnus Rohit Sharma for inspiring young minds through his professional achievements. Faculty members Dr. Lokesh Tripathi, Dr. Vikas Somani, and Dr. Shadab Hussain were also felicitated for their outstanding contributions.

The second session came alive with vibrant cultural performances by senior students, including energetic dance performances, a live rock band, and musical presentations. Freshers also shared their experiences, making the event highly interactive and engaging.

Admission Head Dr. Amit Jain outlined the schedule of the remaining orientation sessions, featuring academic guidance, personality development activities, and student engagement programmes. Registrar Dr. Alok Kumar concluded the ceremony with a vote of thanks.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from newly admitted students, parents, deans, heads of departments, faculty members, staff, NCC cadets, and the entire university fraternity. The successful organization of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, marketing team, and university staff.
