Congress Leaders Extend Grand Welcome to Rahul Gandhi on His Arrival in Kota

Kota: Congress leaders and workers accorded a warm and grand welcome to Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, upon his arrival in Kota for an interaction programme with students.

On behalf of the District Congress Committee, City Congress President Rakhi Gautam and Rural Congress President Bhanu Pratap Singh, along with party workers, received Rahul Gandhi at the airport and welcomed him by presenting bouquets.

Expressing her gratitude, Rakhi Gautam thanked Rahul Gandhi for accepting the invitation to visit Kota and said that his arrival had generated renewed enthusiasm and energy among both party workers and students.

Following the welcome ceremony, City Congress President Rakhi Gautam and Rural Congress President Bhanu Pratap Singh met Rahul Gandhi separately at Umaid Bhawan Palace, where they discussed various organizational and public issues.

District Congress General Secretary Dr. Vijay Soni informed that the welcome programme was attended by several prominent Congress leaders, including Poonam Paswan, AICC Secretary and Rajasthan Co-Incharge; Lalit Toonwal, PCC General Secretary; Pushpendra Bhardwaj, Kota District Incharge; MLAs C.L. Premi, Chetan Patel, and Harimohan Sharma; former Lok Sabha candidate Prahlad Gunjal; Ameen Kagzi, Amit Dhariwal, Ravindra Tyagi, Archana Surana, Naimuddin Guddu, Dr. Jafar Mohammad, Shivkant Nandwana, senior Congress leader Manoj Dubey, Abid Kagzi, Poonam Goyal, Shivraj Gunjal, and numerous other Congress leaders and party workers.

On the occasion, several senior Congress leaders from Rajasthan were also present at the airport to welcome Rahul Gandhi. These included former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee President Govind Singh Dotasra, former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, former Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Ashok Chandna, Dheeraj Gurjar, and other senior party leaders.
