Pacific University’s Faculty of Science and Technology Launches Four-Day Orientation & Induction Week 2026

Udaipur: Pacific University inaugurated its four-day “Orientation & Induction Week 2026” for newly admitted students at the Faculty of Science and Technology in an enthusiastic and welcoming atmosphere. The programme aims to help students make a smooth transition into university life by introducing them to the institution’s academic environment, co-curricular opportunities, campus culture, and future career prospects while fostering confidence and encouraging new friendships.

Addressing the gathering, Vice Chancellor Prof. Hemant Kothari said that the orientation programme is designed to familiarize students with the university’s academic culture, values, and resources, enabling them to begin their educational journey with confidence and a clear sense of purpose.

The programme was graced by RAS officer Digvijay Singh Jhala and fashion designer Aakriti Malik as the chief guests. Speaking to the students, they emphasized that university life is much more than earning a degree—it is an opportunity to develop one’s personality, leadership skills, innovative thinking, and sense of social responsibility. They encouraged students to move forward with a positive attitude, discipline, and a lifelong commitment to learning.

Welcoming the new batch, Faculty Chairman Prof. Dilendra Hiran said that the four-day programme would introduce students to various academic processes, innovation and research initiatives, student activities, and career development opportunities. He also highlighted that the orientation would provide valuable opportunities for students to interact with experienced faculty members and senior students, helping them adapt comfortably to the university environment.

The orientation week will feature a series of motivational lectures, interactive sessions, departmental introductions, and personality development activities designed to help students integrate into campus life and build a strong foundation for their academic and professional futures.

The programme is being coordinated by Dr. Purnima Dashora and Anushka Nahar.
