Shiv Katha Concludes with the Establishment of Baba Baidyanath

Udaipur: The Shiv Katha organized at Narayan Seva Sansthan during the holy month of Sawan concluded with an inspiring narration by Sansthan President Prashant Agrawal. He highlighted Lord Shiva’s devotion, penance, compassion, and message of selfless service.

The central episode focused on Ravana’s intense penance, Lord Shiva’s appearance, and the establishment of the Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlinga. The story conveyed the importance of devotion while warning against pride and arrogance. Agrawal explained that true devotion has the power to invoke divine blessings and that Lord Shiva is the healer not only of the body but also of the soul.

He also narrated the stories of Bhimashankar Mahadev and devotee Nandanar, emphasizing faith, equality, and surrender. The atmosphere became devotional as devotees and their families danced and chanted “Har Har Mahadev.”

Concluding the Katha, Agrawal urged everyone to live for others and emphasized that service, compassion, and selfless welfare are the true forms of Shiva devotion.
