Udaipur — During the Navratri festival, a nine-day Aushadhiya Havan (medicinal fire ritual) organized at Mata Vaishno Devi Temple on Nathdwara Road witnessed the participation of thousands of devotees who felt spiritually and physically benefited. In this special havan, offerings of 70 rare medicinal herbs were made, and organizers have announced that it will now be conducted regularly.

Ayurveda Acharya Shobhalal Aaudhichya stated that the medicinal havan is entirely in accordance with ancient scriptures and has been mentioned in classical Ayurvedic texts. He explained that the sacred smoke generated during the ritual enters the body through breathing, offering relief from various ailments. Remarkably, patients suffering from severe diseases such as cancer and couples struggling with infertility have reported positive results from the ritual.

Former State Minister and social worker Harish Rajani shared that devotees expressed immense satisfaction after participating in the nine-day ceremony, describing a deep sense of mental peace and physical rejuvenation. The temple premises were filled with the soothing fragrance of medicinal herbs, creating a serene and healing atmosphere.

Temple Chief Administrator Sunil Khatri announced that the medicinal havan will now be organized regularly every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Participation will remain completely free of cost. Acharya Aaudhichya added that the longer devotees remain in the purifying smoke of the havan, the greater the benefits they are likely to experience.

This unique initiative has generated enthusiasm among devotees and is being viewed as a harmonious blend of Ayurvedic healing and spiritual therapy.
