Udaipur – The 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp of NCC 1 Raj Naval, held at the School of Agriculture campus of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University in Dabok, concluded with a vibrant cultural programme.

Camp Commandant Commander Shakeel Ahmed presented a video showcasing the various training activities conducted during the camp. In his address, he stated that the camp commenced on 10 November 2025 at JRN Vidyapeeth, Dabok. He explained that the purpose of the camp aligned with the objectives of NCC—developing character, courage, camaraderie, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, adventure spirit, sportsmanship, and ideals of selfless service among youth to help them become responsible and patriotic citizens of India.

A total of 495 cadets participated in the camp, including senior and junior divisions from 15 colleges and 18 schools across various districts of Rajasthan. Among them were 310 male cadets and 185 female cadets. The Combined Annual Training Camp comprised 385 cadets, while the Sailing Expedition Camp included 110 cadets. Commander G.O. Mathew from 2 Raj Ajmer supervised various state-level sailing expedition activities.

Deputy Camp Commandant Lieutenant Hariom Singh Ranawat presented the overall camp report and details of the training imparted. For the smooth conduct of activities, officers and staff from 1 Raj Naval Unit Udaipur, 2 Raj Naval Unit Ajmer, 11 ANOs, 8 caretakers, 13 PI staff, 1 ship modelling staff member, and 4 civil staff members provided their essential services.

As part of the academic activities, guest lectures were delivered by Medical Superintendent Dr. Suman on stress management, ASI Gajraj Singh and Ramanand on cyber security, and Master Trainer Ravi Sharma on disaster management.

Cadets shared their experiences from various sessions including lectures, firing practice, parade drills, sports activities, ship modelling, semaphore training, and sailing expedition activities at Fatehsagar, where they participated in pulling and sailing exercises on whaler boats.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Lieutenant Shailja Ranawat, ANO of Bhupal Nobles University. The event was anchored by Cadet Captain Avishi Paliwal of MB Science College.
