###Indian Oil Organizes Corporate Games 2024 in Pune

*Pune*: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Indian Oil) successfully organized the second edition of its 'Corporate Games' from July 26 to 28, 2024, at the Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. Indian Oil's Chairman, Mr. Shrikant Madhav Vaidya, inaugurated the event on July 26, 2024, in the presence of Ms. Rashmi Govil, Director (HR). The event featured several indoor games, including badminton, chess, table tennis, carrom, and swimming, with 623 employees competing as part of 27 multi-departmental teams from across the country.

In his inaugural speech, Mr. Vaidya emphasized the importance of sports in fostering team spirit and unity among employees. He stated, "Indian Oil is defined by its people. Sports break all divisive boundaries, promoting team spirit and networking, and serve as a powerful way for us to connect and unify. With such enthusiastic competition, we are ready to tackle any challenge as new forms of energy emerge in the evolving business landscape. So, break all barriers and give it your all. Remember, there are 17 medals to win, but countless memories to make."

The three-day tournament highlighted Indian Oil's ongoing commitment to employee engagement and overall corporate well-being, with participants from various divisions, including refineries, pipelines, marketing, research and development (R&D), and business development.

The event concluded with the Delhi Dynamos, representing Refineries Headquarters, Corporate Office, and Planning and Business Development, winning the 'Indian Oil Corporate Games 2024' Team Championship Trophy. Panipat Royals (Panipat Refinery and Petrochemical Complex) and Mumbai Marvels (Marketing Head Office) secured the runner-up and third place titles, respectively.

The grand closing and awards ceremony on July 28, 2024, was attended by Mr. V. Satish Kumar, Director (Marketing); Mr. N. Senthil Kumar, Director (Pipelines); Ms. Rashmi Govil, Director (HR); and Mr. Arvind Kumar, Director (Refineries). During the ceremony, Mr. V. Satish Kumar handed over the baton to Mr. N. Senthil Kumar, as Indian Oil's Pipelines Division will host the next edition of the games in Bhubaneswar.
