####Senior Journalist Kumar Mahadev Vyas Elected President of Rajasthan Press Club

MUMBAI, India: Senior journalist Kumar Mahadev Vyas has been elected president of the Rajasthan Press Club, the representative organization of Rajasthani migrant journalists in Mumbai, during the club's Annual General Meeting held at Hotel Adarsh Palace.

The elections were conducted following the completion of the outgoing executive committee's tenure under the supervision of Ritu Sodhi, Assistant Director In-charge of the Rajasthan Information Centre, Mumbai, and founder and election officer Jagdish Purohit.

The newly elected office-bearers are:

President: Kumar Mahadev Vyas

Working President: Vyas Kumar Raval

Secretary: Lalit Shakti

Treasurer: Ramesh Kabra

Joint Secretary: Harish Rajawat

The following members were unanimously elected to the Executive Committee:

Rahul Pareek

Jitendra Singh Rathore

Suresh Bhansali

Jyoti Munot

Manish Paliwal

Vidya Uttam Shah

In his welcome address, outgoing President Kanhaiyalal Khandelwal spoke about the vision behind the formation of the Rajasthan Press Club and its objectives. Secretary Vyas Kumar Raval presented a report on the club's activities during the past three years, while Treasurer Dineshwar Mali presented the annual financial statement, which was unanimously approved by the members.

Former President Neeraj Dave said the spirit of mutual harmony and positivity among Rajasthani migrant journalists in Mumbai reflects strong social unity. Senior media expert Niranjan Parihar highlighted the principles, objectives and activities of journalists' organizations. Addressing the gathering, Ritu Sodhi urged journalists to help spread awareness about the Rajasthan government's development initiatives among the migrant Rajasthani community.

In his acceptance speech, newly elected President Kumar Mahadev Vyas expressed confidence that, with the support of fellow members, the Rajasthan Press Club would continue to grow and strengthen its role in serving the journalist community.

The Annual General Meeting commenced with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, followed by a two-minute silence in memory of late Raj Purohit, a prominent leader of the Rajasthani migrant community. Members paid tribute to his significant contributions to the community.

Book Released

During the event, the spiritual book "Meri Antarik Aadhyatmik Yatra", authored by journalist Dineshwar Mali, was formally released by former Club President Kanhaiyalal Khandelwal, newly elected President Kumar Mahadev Vyas, and Ritu Sodhi.
