Modi University Unveils Academic Plans for 2026–27 Session

Scholarships, Global Exposure, and Strong Placement Opportunities Highlighted

Udaipur: Modi University of Science and Technology shared key details regarding its academic offerings and initiatives for the upcoming 2026–27 academic session during a press conference held at Hotel Radisson, Udaipur.

Spread across a sprawling 265-acre campus, the university continues to play a leading role in women’s empowerment by providing quality education to students from various states across India.

Addressing the media, Gaurav Sandal, AGM Admissions, and Dr. Sarita Kathuria, Head of the Department of Chemistry, stated that the university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across multiple faculties, including the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Law, Design, and Business. Industry-oriented and skill-based courses such as Data Science, Machine Learning, Forensic Science, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Journalism and Mass Communication, Food and Nutrition, Biomedical Science, and Nuclear Science are also available.

Keeping in view the growing employment opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, the School of Pharmacy offers D.Pharm and B.Pharm programs, providing attractive career options for students.

The university campus also houses the prestigious Modi Residential School, which offers a strong academic environment and ensures continuous, quality education for girls.

Under its scholarship program, the university provides scholarships of up to 100 percent based on national-level competitive examinations and academic performance. Students securing 97 percent or above in Class 12 examinations are eligible for scholarships covering up to 100 percent of their academic expenses. Special scholarship provisions are also available for students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections, and differently-abled categories.

Under a special initiative, children of martyrs are offered a 50 percent tuition fee waiver, while children of serving personnel from the Armed Forces and Paramilitary Forces are eligible for a tuition fee concession of up to 35 percent.

The university’s Technical Skills and Career Development Cell facilitates excellent internship and placement opportunities for students. Leading companies such as Amazon, JP Morgan, Oracle, Visa, Walmart, Samsung, and HSBC regularly participate in campus recruitment drives. Recently, students secured placement packages of up to ₹41 lakh per annum, while the average package stood at ₹12 lakh per annum. Internship stipends of up to ₹1.2 lakh have also been offered.

The university has established collaborations with more than 20 international institutions, enabling semester exchange programs in countries including the United States, France, Germany, and Canada. Students have also secured internship opportunities at globally renowned organizations such as CERN, NASA, and GSI.

To promote holistic development, the university encourages participation in sports, NCC, NSS, horse riding, yoga, and meditation. Students are also motivated towards entrepreneurship and innovation through a state-of-the-art incubation center that supports startup initiatives.

The speakers further highlighted that the university’s online learning platform is open to both female and male students. Online programs include MBA, Master in Mass Communication, BCA, B.Com, BA, and various postgraduate courses, offering flexible and accessible higher education opportunities to learners across the country.
