Rajput Mahasabha Sansthan Concludes 27th Mass Wedding Ceremony

Udaipur: The 27th grand mass wedding ceremony organized by Rajput Mahasabha Sansthan, Udaipur Division concluded with immense grandeur, devotion, and social harmony, creating an inspiring example of unity and cultural values. A total of 40 couples were united in marriage amid Vedic rituals, becoming life partners in a spiritually charged atmosphere.


The massive pandal at Fateh School resonated with the collective chanting of Vedic mantras by 40 priests simultaneously, presenting a rare and awe-inspiring sight. After completing all traditional wedding rituals, the couples formally entered their new journey of married life.

 

Prior to the wedding rituals, a magnificent Bindoli and Var Nikasi procession was taken out from Town Hall, featuring 40 horses and 10 beautifully decorated horse carriages. Accompanied by rhythmic band music, dancing community members, and joyous celebrations, the procession passed through Bapu Bazaar, Surajpole, and Champalal Dharamshala Road, finally reaching Fateh School. Upon arrival, all grooms performed the traditional Toran ceremony.

A Spectacular Bindoli Procession

Mounted on horses and seated in elegantly adorned carriages, the brides and grooms moved forward with dreams of a bright marital future. Family members, relatives, friends, and well-wishers lined the route, showering blessings and warm wishes. Shopkeepers and local traders also stepped out of their establishments to witness the historic occasion, extending heartfelt blessings to the newlyweds.
The emotionally charged and visually captivating procession left spectators deeply moved, turning the streets into a celebration of tradition and togetherness.

Sacred Toran and Garland Ceremony

At around 1:00 PM, the Toran ceremony was performed at the wedding venue in the presence of parents, relatives, and hundreds of community members. Four beautifully decorated Toran gates were set up, where rituals, prayers, and floral aartis were conducted in accordance with tradition.

Following this, the most awaited Garland (Varmala) ceremony took place. As the couples exchanged garlands at the auspicious moment, the entire pandal echoed with chants of “Jai Shri Ekling Nath” and “Jai Charbhuja Nath”, filling the atmosphere with devotion and emotion. Guests personally blessed the couples, many moved by the significance of the moment.

Emphasis on Unity and Cultural Revival

Chief Guest Meghraj Singh Royal emphasized the importance of unity within society, stating that collective efforts are essential to preserve traditions, rituals, and cultural heritage. He urged the community to move forward together while reviving core values and dignity.

Sansthan President Sant Singh Bhati informed that special seating arrangements were made for each couple on the main stage for the Varmala ceremony. Thereafter, couples proceeded to their designated wedding altars where, under priestly guidance and Vedic chanting, they were formally united in matrimony.

The entire event reflected the essence of traditional culture, social harmony, simplicity, and collective joy. Distinguished guests were welcomed in true Rajput tradition with turbans, shawls, and ceremonial sword presentations. The ceremony concluded with a grand community feast (Bhandara).

A Historic and Inspirational Event

This mass wedding ceremony stood as a powerful message of social unity, cooperation, simplicity, and harmony, and has been recognized as one of the most grand and historic collective weddings in the Mewar region.

Dignitaries and Honors

Sansthan General Secretary Pradeep Singh Bhati shared that prominent guests included senior social worker Meghraj Singh Royal, former minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, Ram Pratap Singh Diggi, BJP leader Himmat Singh Jhala, Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Vice-Chancellor Colonel Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot, former MLA Randhir Singh Bhinder, social worker Ratan Singh Jhala, former MLA Preeti Gajendra Singh Shaktawat, Additional SP Chetna Bhati, ASP Suryaveer Singh Mewar, Kshatriya Mahasabha Central President Ashok Singh Metwala, BJP City President Gajpal Singh Rathore, Ravana Rajput Samaj State President Virendra Ravana, and MLA Phal Singh Meena.

Several dignitaries were honored with the Kshatriya Shiromani Vibhuti Samman, Samaj Ratna Samman, Kshatriya Gaurav Samman, Kshatrani Gaurav Samman, Veer Beti Samman, and Game Changer Award, acknowledging their contributions to society.
At the conclusion, executive members and key pillars of the organization were felicitated with appreciation certificates.
