Seminar on “Sowing the Seeds of Values” Emphasizes Role of Parents in Building a Responsible Society

Udaipur: Sangini Arham organized a thought-provoking seminar on the theme “Sowing the Seeds of Values”, highlighting the importance of moral values and ethical upbringing in shaping a responsible and compassionate society.

Addressing the gathering, Sangini Arham President Rashmi Pagaria said that tragic incidents involving young people in relationships, such as the recently reported case involving Siya, Chetan, and Ketan, deeply disturb every sensitive individual. Referring to the incident, she said that although Ketan had committed no wrongdoing, he lost his life, leaving behind grieving parents who lost their only son. Such incidents remind society of the devastating consequences of poor choices and emotional instability.

She emphasized that these tragedies are not just the pain of one family but a matter of concern for society as a whole. Therefore, it is the moral responsibility of every parent to instill good values, ethical principles, sensitivity, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility towards family and society in children from an early age.

Rashmi Pagaria urged parents to spend quality time with their children, communicate openly, understand their emotions, and guide them to make thoughtful and responsible decisions. She stressed that strong moral values form the foundation for raising responsible, compassionate, and ideal citizens.

During the seminar, all participants collectively pledged to promote a value-based environment in society and to guide the younger generation towards the right path.

The seminar also featured insightful presentations by Kavita Khimavat, Mamta Bohra, Manju Jain, Ranjana Khatod, and Kusum Sankhla, who shared their perspectives on the importance of value-based upbringing.

A Skill Development Competition was also organized, in which Monika Kothari, Kavita Surana, Vanita, and Jyoti Kachhara emerged as winners.

The event concluded with vibrant group presentations by members including Rashmi Pagaria, Kavita Khimavat, Seema Babel, Suman Dagaliya, Shashi Mehta, Seema Kachhara, Priyanka Hiran, Karishma, Dimple Singhatwadiya, Payal Porwal, Mamta Bohra, Ishita Mehta, Anita Babel, Sunita Shrimali, Seema Mandot, Asha Harkawat, Kirti Pagaria, Seema Seth, Kusum Sankhla, Manju Jain, Kavita Surana, Sangeeta Chaplot, Vanita, Jyoti Kachhara, Kashish Porwal, Monika Kothari, and Ranjana Khatod, making the programme both meaningful and memorable.
