National Science Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Amarthun School

Banswara: National Science Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and ceremonial spirit at Government Senior Secondary School, Amarthun, under the chief guestship of Principal Arun Vyas.

On this occasion, students actively participated in chart-making, model-making, and various competitions. The event emphasized how curiosity developed in childhood—through questions like what, why, and how—leads to deeper subject-oriented thinking and scientific temperament. It was highlighted that through modern teaching tools such as computers, laptops, and mobile-based scientific experiments, students are becoming proficient in learning through play. In this process, classroom teaching systems and laboratory facilities play a vital role.

During the ceremony, Pari In-charge Khush Pal Katara shed light on the significance of National Science Day and provided meaningful information about the lives and achievements of prominent scientists.

A quiz competition was organized covering topics such as the microscope, sound recording, speed of sound, frequency, the Raman Effect, resonance, and wave transmission. Winners were honored with prizes.

Various activities were also conducted, including rangoli, mehendi, chart preparation, model making, essay writing, and several inter-class competitions. For younger students, fun sports events such as the “Jalebi race,” kabaddi, kho-kho, and tug-of-war were organized. Winners in all categories were awarded.

Several speakers addressed the gathering on different themes, including Bherulal Dodiyar, Mayur Padiyar, Mukesh Patel, Jeevan Lal Ninama, Hitesh Kumar Ninama, Badan Lal Damor, Anoop Mehta, Kapil Verma, Parvat Singh Harishankar, Mansingh, Mrs. Raina Ninama, Mrs. Pragya Adhikari, Kachru Lal Charpota, Prabhulal Kharadi, and Dayashankar Charpota.

The program was conducted by Khush Pal Katara and Dayashankar Charpota, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Pragya Adhikari.

The celebration successfully fostered scientific awareness and enthusiasm among students while encouraging creativity and innovation.
