Electoral Literacy Festival 2026 Organized at CPS

The Electoral Literacy Festival 2026 was organized at Central Public Senior Secondary School, New Bhupalpura, with the aim of promoting democratic values and enhancing electoral awareness among students.
The chief guests of the program were Dr. Devilal Garg (District Coordinator, ELC), Dr. Akshay Raj (In-charge, ELC), along with the school Chairperson Mrs. Alka Sharma. All the dignitaries were warmly welcomed by the school management.
To provide students with practical exposure to the electoral process, a model voting booth was set up on the school campus. This initiative helped students gain firsthand experience of the voting process and understand the importance of participating in elections.
The festival featured a variety of competitions such as group songs in Hindi and English, speeches, skits, rangoli making, drawing, and poster-making. Through these creative activities, students expressed their understanding of democracy, voting rights, and the power of a single vote.
In their addresses, the dignitaries emphasized the significance of every vote and highlighted the crucial role of youth in strengthening the democratic fabric of the nation.
Winners of the various competitions were awarded certificates by the dignitaries and Chairperson Mrs. Alka Sharma. In her inspiring speech, Mrs. Sharma stressed the importance of nurturing responsible, informed, and aware citizens from an early age.
