Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides Officials Visit Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir

Udaipur: Mr. Puran Singh Shekhawat, Assistant State Organising Commissioner of the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Jaipur, visited Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir, Ambamata, Udaipur, to review the school’s Scout and Guide activities. He was accompanied by Mr. Manmohan Swarnkar, Local Association Commissioner, Udaipur, and Ms. Abhilasha Mishra, District Organising Commissioner (Guides).

The dignitaries were welcomed in traditional Mewari style by the school Principal, Mrs. Pratima Sharma, who honoured them with an Uparna. In her address, she described the Scouts and Guides movement as a service-oriented organization that nurtures discipline, leadership, and social responsibility. She expressed confidence that the school would continue to achieve excellence at the national level through its active participation in Scout and Guide programmes.

The school’s Band Troop and Colour Party presented a ceremonial salute, while the programme began with the Scout-Guide prayer and a group song. The Cub-Bulbul and Scout-Guide units showcased disciplined performances, including the Grand Howl and Circle Song. Cub Master Mr. K. B. Menaria presented the annual report and motivated students through Scout and Guide slogans.

Chief guest Mr. Shekhawat appreciated the students’ cultural performances and commended the school’s commitment to developing leadership, discipline, and a spirit of service. He encouraged students to actively participate in Scout and Guide programmes and highlighted the opportunity to earn the prestigious President’s Award through dedication and excellence.
