On the occasion of Emergency Medicine Day, an energetic and inspiring “Emergency Walkathon” was successfully organized early this morning with enthusiastic participation from doctors, nursing staff, and healthcare professionals of the Emergency Department.
The initiative aimed to spread awareness among the public regarding the importance of emergency medical services while also encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle. During the walkathon, participants highlighted key messages related to health, fitness, and the significance of timely medical assistance in emergency situations.
The event also featured motivational video bites recorded by several distinguished medical experts. Among those who shared their insights were Dr. Savita Choudhary (HOD, Emergency Medicine), Dr. Chetan Choudhary (Associate Professor, Emergency Medicine), Dr. Jitendra Jeengar (HOD, Psychiatry), Dr. Ashish Sharma (HOD, Biochemistry), Dr. Arvind Yadav (HOD – Pharmacy & Registrar, GU), Dr. Saloni Gupta, Dr. Ashish Jakhetia (Surgical Oncology), Dr. Shashi Ranjan (AP, Emergency Medicine), Dr. Robin Singh, Dr. Bhamini Jakhetia (Associate Professor, Obstetrics & Gynaecology), Dr. Smeet Patil, Dr. Gagan A. Pai, and Dr. Rahul Ranjan.
