Udaipur. On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the cultural organization Suron Ki Mandli is set to organize a grand devotional evening on Monday, February 16. Titled “Shiv Stuti,” the musical program will be held at Ashoka Palace at 4:00 PM, where talented singers from the city will present soulful bhajans and devotional songs dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Founder-President Mukesh Madhavani shared that the primary objective of the organization is to bring music closer to the masses. As part of this mission, the group regularly organizes events in memory of great personalities from the religious and musical spheres. He also announced that next month, on the occasion of Navratri, a grand program titled “Maa Ki Mahima” will be आयोजित at the Vaishno Devi Mata Temple located on Nathdwara Road.
Program Convener Ramesh Datwani informed that a special attraction of the evening will be the ‘Bal Shiv’ competition for children aged 4 to 14 years. Participants will dress up as Lord Shiva and compete for top honors. The first three winners will receive mementos and certificates, while all participants will be awarded certificates to encourage their enthusiasm. The initiative aims to acquaint children with their rich Sanatani culture and spiritual heritage.
Organization Secretary Arun Chaubisa appealed to all Shiva devotees of Udaipur to attend the musical evening with their families and friends to experience the bliss of devotion and music. The Treasurer mentioned that members are highly enthusiastic about the event and are working diligently to make it grand and memorable.
Meanwhile, Ishwar Jain 'Kaustubh' has been conducting intensive karaoke-based rehearsals for the past ten days, guiding singers in the practice of Shiv bhajans and devotional songs to ensure a mesmerizing atmosphere of devotion during the program.
