Udaipur,: Hindustan Zinc, India’s only and the world’s largest integrated zinc producer, continues to strengthen access to quality education in underserved communities in rural Rajasthan through its flagship education initiative, Shiksha Sambal. Students enrolled under the programme have delivered an outstanding performance in the recently declared Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education in Class 10th and 12th results. Under the Shiksha Sambal Programme, Hindustan Zinc supports the government schools by providing additional teachers, learning materials, and academic support, particularly in Science, Mathematics, and English. The programme is designed to strengthen learning outcomes and improve academic performance among students in rural communities.
To further enhance the students’ learning experience, the programme also promotes conceptual clarity and experiential learning through focused academic interventions. Recently, Hindustan Zinc has established four immersive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Labs across Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, aimed at making classrooms more interactive, engaging, technology-enabled, and innovation-led.
