FUTURE PROOF YOUR HEALTH – IMPORTANCE OF NUTRITION  TO SOLDIERS & FAMILIES

Jaipur: The Gyan Shakti Think Tank (GSTT), under the aegis of Sapta Shakti Command, organised an insightful seminar on the theme ‘Future Proof Your Health – Importance of Nutrition to Soldiers & Families’ at Jaipur Military Station on 29–30 May 2026.

 

          Conducted in two sessions, the Seminar witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of serving and retired defence officers, JCOs, OR, defence civilians, students and their families.

 

          The Seminar was delivered by Ms Jinal Shah, a renowned nutritionist and health educator with over 12 years of experience in the field of nutrition and wellness. Through the engaging and interactive sessions, she addressed the challenges of navigating the growing confusion surrounding food choices and highlighted practical strategies for building sustainable health across all age groups.

 

          Emphasising the critical role of traditional Indian diet   in enhancing physical fitness, mental well-being and overall quality of life, the speaker shared valuable insights on healthy eating habits, lifestyle modifications and evidence-based approaches to strengthening immunity and long-term wellness among soldiers and their families.

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, complimented the speaker for her enlightening presentation and appreciated her efforts in promoting awareness on a subject that has a direct impact on the health and well-being of every individual and household.

 

          On the occasion, the Army Commander also released the inaugural edition of the Gyan Shakti Think Tank Journal, marking another significant milestone in fostering intellectual discourse and knowledge-sharing within the Command.
