Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani visits Tripura Sundari Temple during Tripura tour

Agartala/Jaipur. During his visit to Tripura, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani visited the *Shakti Peeth* Tripura Sundari Temple, where he offered prayers and performed rituals to Goddess Tripura Sundari.

Speaker Devnani prayed at the holy feet of Goddess Jagdamba for the nation's prosperity, public welfare, peace, and continuous progress. He expressed the hope that, through the boundless grace of Goddess Tripura Sundari, happiness, peace, strength, and prosperity would dwell in the lives of every citizen, and that India would continue to advance on the path of development and glory. While experiencing the divine and spiritual aura of the temple, Devnani expressed his deep reverence and faith in the Goddess.

It is noteworthy that this temple, established in 1501 AD, is 582 years old. It is located near Udaipur city in the Gomati district, approximately 57 kilometers from Agartala, the capital of Tripura. It is also known as the Matabari Temple and *Kurma* (Tortoise) *Peeth*. It holds a place of special reverence as one of the 51 *Shakti Peeths*.
