Speaker Vasudev Devnani Meets Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Speaker Ranjeet Kumar Dass

Guwahati/Jaipur: During his visit to Assam, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani met with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma and Speaker Ranjeet Kumar Dass in Guwahati.

During the meeting, Speaker Devnani presented a copy of his book, *'Sanatan Sanskriti Ki Atal Drishti'*  to Chief Minister Dr. Sharma. He also shared his views with Dr. Sharma on nation-building, the promotion of democratic values, good governance, public welfare, development, and contemporary issues. The two leaders held a meaningful discussion on making democratic institutions more effective, transparent, and people-oriented. Devnani also shared information about the various innovations implemented in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly under his leadership.

Speaker Devnani expressed confidence that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma, Assam would achieve new milestones in development, cultural prosperity, and public welfare.

*Devnani Meets Assam Speaker Dass*

Assembly Speaker Devnani also met with the Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly, Ranjeet Kumar Dass. The two Speakers held extensive and meaningful discussions on significant topics such as strengthening Indian democracy, the dignity and effectiveness of parliamentary institutions, the quality of legislative work, the preservation and modernization of parliamentary traditions to meet contemporary needs, innovations in Assembly functioning, the effective integration of digital technology, and enhancing public participation.

While sharing details about the innovations introduced in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Devnani informed Dass that several pioneering initiatives have been undertaken to connect democratic institutions with the public, strengthen parliamentary dignity, and familiarize the new generation with democratic values. Speaker Devnani stated that the strengthening of democratic institutions is not limited merely to the legislative process but is also linked to public trust, transparency, innovation, and the continuous fostering of parliamentary values. He expressed confidence that the ongoing exchange of experiences, best practices, and innovations among the legislative assemblies of various states would play a pivotal role in making Indian democracy even more enriched, effective, and people-centric.

*Paid Obeisance to Maa Kamakhya*

During his visit to Assam, Assembly Speaker Devnani visited the world-renowned Maa Kamakhya Shaktipeeth, situated on the Nilachal Hill, where he paid obeisance to the Goddess and performed rituals and prayers.

Devnani prayed at the holy feet of Maa Kamakhya for the happiness, peace, prosperity, good health, and progress of the nation and the state, as well as for the well-being of all people. He prayed that, through the boundless grace of Maa Kamakhya, the nation continues to advance on the path of progress, prosperity, and cultural grandeur, and that happiness, peace, and positive energy permeate everyone's lives.
