At a time when globalization and commercialization are threatening the survival of indigenous cultures, the significance of visionaries like K.C. Malu has become even greater. Whenever my revered late father, Shri Ramswaroop Garg, visited Jaipur, he invariably met K.C. Malu. Their discussions often revolved around literature, culture, Jain philosophy, and social issues. I grew up hearing about those enriching conversations, which reflected not only intellectual exchange but also a shared concern for preserving cultural values and strengthening society. Later, I had the privilege of meeting him personally and experiencing his warmth, humility, and intellectual depth. Whenever he spoke about Rajasthan, his words reflected not just knowledge but a profound love for his motherland. He firmly believed that only a society connected to its roots can build a meaningful future. Even while embracing modern technology, he never abandoned tradition. Through digital platforms, he made Rajasthani music accessible across the globe, enabling every Rajasthani, wherever they lived, to reconnect with the fragrance of their homeland.

K.C. Malu's life also reminds us that each one of us can become a bridge—connecting generations, preserving culture, and enriching lives. Together, we can build a society rooted in heritage, overcome challenges with collective wisdom, and become a source of light amidst darkness. This was the philosophy that guided the founder of Veena Music.
