27th Mass Marriage Ceremony of Rajput Mahasabha Udaipur Division Tomorrow

Udaipur: The 27th Mass Marriage Ceremony organized by the Rajput Mahasabha Sansthan, Udaipur Division, will be held on February 10 at the Fateh School Ground, located near Surajpole in the city.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday at Hotel Dev Darshan, Surajpole, Rajput Mahasabha Sansthan President Shri Sant Singh Bhati said that this 27th mass marriage ceremony is set to be a historic event. He informed that registrations of 40 couples have been completed so far, and the entire ceremony will be conducted completely free of cost. As a token of shagun, only Re. 1 has been taken from both the bride and groom sides.
He further stated that 40 marriage pavilions (mandaps) will be set up at the venue, and 40 priests will solemnize the marriages according to traditional rituals. On February 10 at 9:00 a.m., a grand wedding procession (baraat) will depart from the Town Hall in the form of a ceremonial parade. Arrangements have been made for 40 horses and 10 decorated carriages for the bride and groom. Accompanied by bands, the procession will proceed from the Town Hall via Surajpole and Fateh Memorial Road to the Fateh School Ground.
A day prior to the marriages, on February 9, women’s sangeet as well as haldi and mehndi ceremonies for the couples will be organized at Hotel Dev Darshan.
General Secretary of the Mahasabha, Shri Pradeep Singh Bhati, informed that several prominent industrialists and social workers will be present at the ceremony, including Shri Meghraj Singh Royal, social worker Thakur Sahib Ratan Singh Jhala, social worker Ram Pratap Singh Digi, former minister and social worker Shri Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, social worker Colonel Prof. S. S. Sarangdevot, young entrepreneur and social worker Himmat Singh Jhala, and former MLA Maharaj Randhir Singh Bhinder, along with many other distinguished members of the community. On this occasion, Vibhuti Samman, Samaj Gaurav Samman, Bhamashah Samman, as well as Kshatriya and Kshatrani honors will be conferred.
Mahasabha Secretary Shri Hitendra Singh Rathore stated that various committees have been formed to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. Separate arrangements have been made for drinking water, parking, security, and dining facilities for men and women. Accommodation for guests arriving from outside and for the couples has been arranged at Hotel Dev Darshan on February 9, while accommodation for brides has been arranged at Vasupujya Jain Dharamshala.
