Udaipur: At the Surajpol branch of State Bank of India, Chief Manager Amit Kumar Singh handed over a cheque of ₹1 crore to Mrs. Reema Thapa, the wife of the late Phan Bahadur Thapa, under the insurance benefit linked to a CSP account as part of a death claim settlement.

On this occasion, officials from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, Udaipur—Ashok Kumar Dhanka (Accounts Officer, T&C), Jagtar Singh (Executive Engineer, Civil), and Jayantilal Prajapat (Administrative Officer, T&C)—were present. They stated that the late Phan Bahadur Thapa was employed as a Mason Assistant Engineer (Civil) at RRVPNL and held a salary account with SBI.

The officials appreciated the insurance facility associated with SBI salary accounts and expressed their gratitude. Mrs. Reema Thapa also thanked SBI, saying that this insurance support would be a great help in her children’s education and in sustaining the family’s livelihood.
