Rotary Club Udai Plants 51 Saplings at Sanjeevani Nursing College, Announces Next Drive to Plant 101 Trees

Udaipur: Reinforcing its commitment to environmental conservation, Rotary Club Udai planted 51 saplings at the Sanjeevani Nursing College campus on Saturday, promoting the message of a greener and more sustainable future.

The plantation drive was coordinated by the club's Foundation Director, Ashok Linjara, and was attended by Rotary District Governor Arun Bagadia, Poonam Bagadia, and District Secretary General (DSG) Sanjay Kaushik.

The programme, led by Club President Sakshi Dodeja, saw enthusiastic participation from Rotary members, faculty, and students, who planted a variety of saplings and pledged to ensure their proper care and long-term maintenance. Speakers emphasized that environmental conservation extends beyond planting trees and requires continuous nurturing to ensure their healthy growth.

Ashok Linjara said that the club's green initiative would continue with renewed momentum. As part of the campaign, the club has set a target of planting 101 saplings at a school campus on July 12, with the objective of encouraging greater public participation in environmental protection efforts.

Among those present were Assistant District Secretary General (ADSG) Ritu Vaishnav, Zone Chair Rajesh Chugh, Secretary Aniket Sharma, Vice President Anita Maurya, Joint Secretary Ashok Veerwal, Dharmesh Dodeja, Govind Yadav, several members of Rotary Club Udai, and faculty members and students of Sanjeevani Nursing College.

The programme concluded with participants taking a pledge to protect the environment by planting more trees and ensuring their preservation for future generations.
