New Team of Rotary Club of Udaipur Drishti Takes Charge

Udaipur: The Installation Ceremony of the Rotary Club of Udaipur Drishti and the official visit of Rotary District 3056 District Governor Rtn. Arun Bagadia were held in a dignified atmosphere at Sunrise College, Umarda, on Saturday. The newly elected office-bearers formally assumed their responsibilities, reaffirming their commitment to leadership, community service, and social welfare.

The ceremony was graced by District Governor Rtn. Arun Bagadia as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Mrs. Poonam Bagadia. Rtn. Jayesh Parikh attended as the Guest of Honour, while Assistant Governor Rtn. Gajendra Jodhawat, District Secretary General (DSG) Rtn. Sanjay Kaushik, and Assistant District Secretary General (ADSG) Rtn. Ritu Vaishnav were also present.

The programme was chaired and conducted by Dr. Lokesh Jain. It commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by an invocation to Lord Ganesha.

Welcoming the guests, Club President Rtn. Vikramaditya Singh Krishnavat said that the new Rotary year would be dedicated to service, values, and social responsibility. He stated that the club plans to undertake several public welfare initiatives in the fields of education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and humanitarian service.

During the installation ceremony, the newly elected executive committee formally assumed office. On the occasion, Angad Chhabra took charge as the Joint Secretary of the club. The dignitaries and fellow Rotarians extended their best wishes to the new office-bearers for a successful and impactful tenure.

In his address, District Governor Rtn. Arun Bagadia described Rotary as not merely an organization but a global movement dedicated to selfless service. He urged the newly installed team to expand service initiatives for the underprivileged, embrace innovation, and work with a strong spirit of teamwork. Appreciating the club's ongoing community service projects, he conveyed his best wishes for a productive and meaningful Rotary year ahead.
