BCI Pinnacle Knowledge Series Highlights Importance of Will Planning

Udaipur: The Pinnacle Chapter of Business Circle International (BCI) organized an informative session on “Secure Your Legacy with Basics of Will” as part of its Knowledge Series at Madhushree Banquet Hall, Ashoka Palace, Udaipur. The session, held from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, was attended by entrepreneurs, professionals, youth, and citizens from various fields.

BCI Founder and Chairman Mukesh Madhavani said that the objective of the Knowledge Series is to spread awareness about important issues directly connected with personal and family well-being. He emphasized that every adult should understand the basics of will preparation to avoid future legal complications and family disputes.

The keynote speaker, CA Anshul Mogra, provided detailed insights into the legal and practical aspects of preparing a will. He explained that a will is not merely a document for property distribution but an important legal instrument to protect a family's future and ensure smooth transfer of assets.

CA Mogra advised individuals to prepare their wills in advance and include accurate legal details, including complete names and relationships of beneficiaries and institutions. He highlighted the importance of including proper clauses to make a will legally valid and dispute-free.

He also explained that the person preparing a will must be mentally fit, as this is a key requirement for its legal validity. He discussed the role and responsibilities of an executor and guided participants on selecting a trustworthy person for carrying out the instructions mentioned in the will.

Speaking about registration, CA Mogra informed that while registering a will is not compulsory, a registered will can enhance its credibility and help reduce the chances of future disputes.

The interactive session allowed participants to ask questions related to will preparation, inheritance, and legal procedures. CA Mogra addressed their queries with practical examples, making the session highly useful and engaging.

The programme began with the felicitation of BCI Pinnacle President CA Anshul Mogra. Shalini Bhatnagar, Secretary of BCI Pinnacle, conducted the programme and announced that similar awareness sessions on important social and business topics will continue in the future.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks. Several dignitaries and BCI members, including CA Vatsalya Soni, Brijesh Chauhan, Prakash Hada, Nilesh Kode, Deepank Bhatnagar, Neeraj Kapoor, and Priya Mogra, were present.
