Grand Inauguration of Sindhi Community’s JPL Season 4; Opening Day Matches Dedicated to Late Bhanu Kumar Shastri

Udaipur: The fourth season of the prestigious cricket tournament of the Sindhi community, the JPL (Jhulelal Premier League), organized under the aegis of the Sindhi Central Yuva Seva Samiti, was inaugurated with great enthusiasm, sporting spirit, and reverence. All matches on the opening day were dedicated to the fond memory of Late Bhanu Kumar Shastri.

Committee President Vijay Ahuja informed that the inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of City MLA Tarachand Jain, Ravindra Shreemali, Sindhi community president Pratap Rai Chugh, Sukhram Das, Umesh Manwani, Ashok Gera, Kishore Jhambani, Suresh Kataria, Manoj Kataria, Prakash Phulani, Bhagwan Das Chhabra, along with members of the Shastri family. The dignitaries formally inaugurated the tournament by conducting the toss.

General Secretary Mukesh Khilwani stated that a total of five thrilling matches were played on the first day of the tournament. Teams from Mohan Trading Company, Sanjay Glass, Mansa Purn Karni Mata Ropeway, Prithviraj Maurya, and Evra Fine registered impressive victories with outstanding performances. The high energy of the players, the enthusiasm of the spectators, and the competitive spirit on the field created an electrifying atmosphere.

Vice President Rajesh Khatri announced that all matches scheduled for the second day, Thursday, will be dedicated to the memory of Late Prabhudas Pahuja.

The successful organization of JPL Season 4 has received significant support from Manish Demla, Mukesh Gakhreja, Aman Asnani, Shailesh Kataria, Jitendra Kalra, Kapil Manwani, Pawan Ahuja, Nanak Lunj, Bhavesh Taldar, Chandprakash Mangwani, and several other social workers.

JPL Season 4 is not only providing a strong platform for sporting talent but is also strengthening brotherhood, unity, and youth participation within the community.
