Release of the First Issue of the 21st Year of “Madhur Muskaan” (January–March 2026) by Muskaan Senior Citizens Club, Udaipur

Udaipur: Today, the Muskaan Senior Citizens Club, Udaipur, released the first issue of the 21st year (January–March 2026) of its quarterly magazine *Madhur Muskaan*. The release was carried out by the Gattani Foundation Trustees and members of the Muskaan Club Executive Committee.

Edited by Mr. M.P. Mathur and Mr. Rameshchandra Joshi, the magazine publishes content highlighting the club’s activities, members’ creative works, and reading material tailored to the interests of senior citizens.

The magazine provides a detailed account of the club’s diverse activities during the previous quarter (October–December 2025), including Sharad Purnima celebrations, Diwali gatherings, comedy plays, poetry recitals, tiffin picnics, yoga sessions, and health check-ups. It also highlights members’ performances in dance, singing, antakshari (word games), and presentations by special guests.

Media Coordinator Professor Vimal Sharma, reviewing this issue, noted that the poems and articles contributed by members focus on human life, women’s issues, health, and festivals. These works reflect the club’s literary tradition.

Trustee Mrs. Kaushalya Gattani’s article *“Atma Bodh”* emphasizes the importance of nurturing each child’s talent and interests, encouraging the development of innate abilities.

Notable Poems Include:

1. “Stree” (Mr. Kamal Soundhi): A satirical poem highlighting women’s gentleness, resilience, and differences from men, with references to figures like Sita and Devaki.
2. “Foot Ko Vida Kar Deejiye” (Mr. Dalpat Singh Kumbhat): Conveys a message of love, unity, and avoiding quarrels.
3. “Zindagi” (Mrs. Rita Shrimali): Reflects on life’s fleeting nature and the cycles of happiness and sorrow, emphasizing contentment.
4. Three New Year Poems (Mrs. Renu Mathur, Dr. Naresh Sharma, Mr. Ajay Goyal): Offer New Year greetings, highlight the importance of sacred texts, and promote prayers for world peace.
5. “Kyoon Hai” (Mr. Ishwar Jain “Kaustubh”): Explores deep reflections on pain, happiness, devotion, and destiny.

1. “The Importance of Music in Life” (Mrs. Kusumlata Tripathi): Discusses the mental, physical, and cultural benefits of music, with references to the Samaveda and scientific studies.
2. “Pain Is a Warning” (Mrs. Usha Intodia): Explains how pain signals health issues, citing examples like appendicitis and angina, and expresses gratitude for the body’s warning system.
