Bhagwati Gameti from Dhar Selected for West Zone Inter-University Cricket Tournament

Udaipur: An emerging cricket talent from **Gram Panchayat Dhar**, **Bhagwati Gameti**, a student of **Meera Girls’ College** and a **left-arm spinner**, has been selected in the **Mohanlal Sukhadia University** team for the **West Zone Inter-University Women’s Cricket Tournament**.

Recognizing the talent of this young player from the tribal region, **Ms. Pragya Kevalramani**, Divisional Commissioner, Udaipur, and Tribal Area Talent Development Promoter, presented **cricket spikes** to Bhagwati Gameti. Coming from a labourer’s family, the encouragement will help her further strengthen her skills.

It is noteworthy that in the previous season’s West Zone Inter-University Cricket Tournament, Bhagwati Gameti delivered an outstanding performance by taking **15 wickets**, playing a crucial role in helping **Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur**, secure the **bronze medal**.

On her selection, public representatives of **Gram Panchayat Dhar**, villagers, and coach **Neeraj Batra** expressed their happiness and extended best wishes to Bhagwati. They also expressed gratitude to the **State Government**, **Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani**, and the **Udaipur administration** for the facilities and encouragement being provided to nurture talent from tribal areas.
